How do I change the cPanel passwords on my VPS?

To change the cPanel password for an account set up under your VPS server, please see the following steps.

First, you will need to log in to your VPS WHM control panel as per:

  1. Once logged in WHM, Using the search box in the top right navigate to "Password Modification"
  2. Choose the account from the list that you are looking to update
  3. At the bottom of the page, enter/generate a new password for the account and click the blue change password button

You can leave Enable Digest Authentication unticked
