There’s an important update from the .IE Registry
From 1st August 2025, any .ie domain that goes more than 45 days overdue will enter a redemption period, during which an additional restore fee of €48 + VAT will be required in order to renew the domain.
This change won’t affect domains renewed on time or within the 45-day grace period.
